That pleco isn't a common pleco but also not a hystrix, it's a Liposarcus / Pteryglopichthys pardalis.
i think it is a reg :irked: i posted more pics here and theres more brown now.

The PBs in your parent's pond will feast on the jewels. How's the PBs finding the colder weather so far?
ya i figured they would eat some.wish i had large females to add also. :irked:
gotta go catch some fm's to put in there.
hopefully the baby jewels grow up and breed for feeders. :)
pb,i seen one of them a day or 2 ago,but last night it got into the upper 40's here. :(

have a dozen or 2 in the pond.
no one eats them "much" lol

You couldnt be more correct. :D
Those mosquito's are bigger then the wild guppies/gambusia I can net. The ones in a small dam near me only average 1.75-2" TL for a female.
