i know the cats and think the first is mayan cichlid.
last guys tail is tore up but he seems to be doing good.

Yeah, the first looks like a Mayan. I've seen some with as many as three gold ringed dots near the tail.

The last two looks like Jewel cichlids. They are plentiful this time of the year.

Yes, at least here in the Miami area, some of them have very intense red coloring and some don't. Some have very pale green and very little red coloring.

One local wholesaler takes them for about 30 cents each.
