Went Pike fishing

How do pike fight/taste? We have a lake in Northern California that people dumped pike into, but I only made it up there once and didnt catch any. Now that they poisoned it I guess we will see what happens.

depending on the time of year Pike fight hard when hooked and make a tasty meal. Popular both on hook and on table in France but have a lot of bones.

Pike anglers in the UK gotto take a trip to somerset levels and the quarry pits around Bristol there are some monsters on there i was talking to a bloke down in a local town with the river avon running through it and he caught 35 1/2 LB pike i saw pictures as well but me...im sticking with carp i wanna keep my fingers

Pike are some of the best tasting fish you can get. They are really bony though, so watch how you filet and eat them.
