Sometimes it's the luck of the draw I think. I set my tank up last September and I wanted some smaller growing pbass. I got some orinos from Malones Monsters because after looking and emailing for a month I could'nt find any kels. Well the tiny orinos ended up getting pestered to death by one of the 1.5-2" oscars. So I looked again and wallah I got 2 excellent kels from Petzone. 4.5".
The oscars were about 3" by then. The smallest oscar started pestering these kels! Well that oscar is no longer with us.... No more pbass killing!
To answer your question I believe AZ Gardens raises ocellaris but these people have a horrible reputation (I have learned, from the forums and then the internet). They claim to raise them.

You have reached out to vendors on this? I think it's sometimes difficult to find the bass you want. It's sort of seasonal. You could probably find these things swimming around in the canals in Florida.

I reached out to wes he told me theres nothing coming out of Guyana now. But i was just saying are there no ocellaris breeders in the states and thanks LB dave for that heads up on az gardens. I was even looking for some out of Florida that was wild caught out of the lakes but i found some seller's but the fish was 13 inches and bigger they'll eat my whole tank what luck lol
