Were gonna need a new net!

The best way IME is to drain the tank water down to 6-8" and lay a bucket sideways and use a net to kinda herd the fish into the bucket. Then just pull the bucket out. Way less stressful for fish and owner.

Yea I've done that but the fish tear eachother apart when they are all in a bucket..... I do drain the tank tho and it works, just need a backup net!

Really? Ive had five 6" reds in a 1/2 full 5gal bucket before with no issue. Ive also moved two buckets with 2-3 6" cariba per bucket as well with no issue. Guess the mileage may vary.

Yea did it once when I first got them, by the time I got home 1 was laying at the surface. Luckily they all pulled threw will never do it again. They were teens then so 3-5" rowdy rbp. It was 6 in a 5 gal
