Edit: Title should have been
"Weird Red Anus: Freshwater Snowflake Eel"
Hey all,
Yea my issue is as weird as the title of the post suggests. My snowflake moray, who is about 19" long, has a strange red sore, rash, abnormality right where her anus is. I've attached a pic below.
I have 2 of these eels in a 55 gal brackish tank, eheim 2217, decent/constant water movement, and start check my chemistry was on point with a salinity of 1.008~, temp of 78F~
Both eels eat frozen blood worm cubes, feeder fish (comets, guppies) and LOVE frozen silversides.
Any light you can shed, much appreciated. Thanks
Pics: First pic is of the "abnormality/sore" while my moray lays upside down, which it loves to do for some reason, perfectly healthy and active otherwise.
Second pic is just a pic of the same eels face, shes a beauty
