opsaricthys do not have much coloring on them usually. the ones you have probably originated from Hong Kong or Southern China. there is a species from Taiwan that is bright orange when breeding, as will these zaccos you have also

good question.... i originally thought they were burmese trout barb, but guess not , they would be like over a foot long if they were.... im guess these will only get to ... not sure.... 4" ? or do they actually get monster ? cant find any info on them ^^;;

from combinin info, i guess im satified with either zacco platypus , zacco macrolepis , or zacco sp. :D

i still dunno their max size though ....
and i wonder if this is in the books i will be gettin :P

and i decided to just feed them pellets ( which they are taking eagerly) instead of feeders cuz i still dont trust feeders, and the feeders scares the other barbs i have in there ..... fast lil eaters they r. even faster than masheers

im saying IF they were closely realted to the raimas theyd get around the same size i guess.
