WEST COAST vs EAST COAST UNIQUE MONSTER FISH

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had it for about 5 months. When I first got him he was about 3" and he grew another five to 8" inches, which he is in the pics.

I must say that the sea robin, the ]\/[arine ]\/[ onster, pushes the EAST COAST ahead of the pack, or just ahead of the West Coast.

I think the West Coast is in pretty good shape considering some of the fishes I have seen. I am not sure all the East Coast folks have posted here so I will do my best to put a dent on what the West Coast has done so far. Here are some pics of just some of my collection.

Dont get Ivan started... This guy has true monsters!! East Coast !!!!

Not Necessarily... I have seen plenty of Sea Robins... I know they are somewhat rare,,, but yet not rare enough to push the Easterners past the Westerners...
You are close but not close enough...

Just remember this topic is about Unique Monster Fish,,, not these small non-unique fish (such as most cichlids, and just things that you can find in most LFS's)...

But heres my contribution...
Not so monster,,, but somewhat unique :)

Ok, Ivan.
what does a trigger and a damsel come under then? last time i checked was that they were marine, well we sell them at work as marine. damn thats where we going wrong.:grinyes:

I must have not looked the whole thread then since I didn't see any Marine fishes until the sea robin. Thanks for the free sarcasm in the post too, LOL. I believe I would have been a tad smarter than you give me credit for if I would have seen a Trigger and a damsel.

Seeing how marines are part of the game, go right ahead and post your "crushing" selection too since it can only make this even more interesting.

Ivan

Uhhhooooohhhh, The battle of the Marines is on!!!!

Blah, start another thread if your gonna do marines West Coast vs. East Coast....cuz wanna keep this pure and untainted freshwater for as long as possible.

Don't have any fish right now at the moment, but I'll add some soon! :D

BTW....which coast am I if I'm in Mississippi?
