Moreno Valley
We've got literally at least 100 fence lizard hatchlings running around in the backyard, I remember catching them as a kid but now that I'm old, slow and tall it seems like they're impossible to get ahold of.

Little turds are quick, I've tried everything from using a long trout fishing pole to pin them down to sticks with nooses on the end and they always run off just before I get to em'.

Any suggestions from you guys on capture?

i sure wish i could watch you do this, lol.I whent out in the country the other day and their were all the lizards i used to catch.I couldnt catch a single one.Im still fast, though tall and less didnt want to crawl through the brush.I think hey are smarter now,you know, evolving.

The alpha male of the backyard torments me. He's a huge fat guy with all sorts of blue coloration throughout his underside. He's claimed a tree with a patch of ivy around it as his home and when I try to catch him he'll simply run circles around the tree until I lose track.

I usually assume he's gone down into the ivy, but more often then not the second I turn around after giving up he's running down from the tree and bobbing his head at me again.

This guy literally comes out every time anyones in the backyard and challenges with head bobbing. He's relentless!

I can get pink bellied swifts out here and was considering catching a male blue belly and cross breeding to see what comes out.

you bum,i map quested your town,im out that way quite often. You have a few good shops within at least an hour from you and lots of other good stuff near by.punk,lol.you have fun catchin them, fast little jerks.

I'd like to know what shops are that close haha, far as I can tell Moreno Valley is desolate for reptiles.

Closest place I know of that's reputable is out towards San Diego, lots of places in Orange County, though. Yellow pages doesn't list much out here.

I guess im comparing to me,rep depot is closest to me and thats like an hour and half.Yeah im not sure about your actual town but i mean within an hour right. You arnet too far from ocean side are you?And by the way, isnt there a rep shop along that coast from LLL .I cant remember,i thought it was reptile haven.

oh crap,i guess you are out there, how many miles from santa monica are you?
