One thing, if you put the floss right up to the inlets it will quiet it down. I have it running with the hanging above and it was loud (in my standards). Then I add some extra piping to reach the filter media and it is almost silent!!!!!
he probably does get dovii in. i think i've seen them there before but i can't swear by it. i'm not really in to those types of fish so i don't pay them much mind. not sure if he ships or not either. give him a call. the website doesn't have anything close to what he has available.
