What is a wet/dry filter???? I am looking @ a thing for a custom Acrylic Tank and i was wondering what it is. And also what is Overflow?????? And if u dont mind what dimensions for a Reqctangle 250g 72"Lx36"Wx24"H for the filter and location also size of overflow

Thx. that helped out alot now i am gana probly build one for my 100g and soon one for a 60g but ill still probly keep my aqua clear on the tank(just some xtra help )

I just built a wet/dry(trickle) filter for my 450l tank to replace my marginally sized canister filter. I used a 2.5' tank from the LFS as my base. All up it to make it was cheaper than a quality canister filter and should handle at least twice the filtration.
