Any of the species that get over 8 inches would push it...including sveni which will be a gamble for me....we will see.

A lone lent will not work. Lents get very big!

I'd say a 5x18 is a good minimum size. Or a 4x2.

Charney has my former pair and they are huge now. Almost as big as my former cincta.

See if you can find celidochilus. Gorgeous colors and medium sized pike. Also are from Uruguay so no need to run a heater.

I've heard of those those absolutely gorgeous (almost reminds me of C. vittata),the lip patterns are rather intriguing, they also pretty rare sold if I remember correctly
C. acutirostris C. Multispinosa and C. Jegui are pretty cool as well, however not 100% sure on how big they get though.
however I assume all are in the 10-14in. range. Although looking at C. jegui it seems rather sedentary unlike most pikes, which is quite interesting.

I must say I do quite like the reticulata group quite a bit C. jegui and C. cametana are pretty cool.
I was looking at Jeff Rapps stock list and stumbled upon C. macrophthalma apears to be a large dwarf pike, however the info on them is practically nonexistent.
So does anyone have any info on keeping these 3 species?

Jegui are awesome fish! Love them!

Don't know much about macrothalmus other than they are found in deeper water hence the large eyes. It's a rather drab pike.
