Wet Pet - Which is best?

I'm a little concerned about buying one at 5-6" because I don't want a stunted fish. I'll find out tomorrow when I goto Petsmart. Not gonna rush into getting one though.

I personaly like Parachromis. I got my Dovii to be a wet pet. That makes me bias owning one though. The best Wet pets IMO are:

Amphilouphus
Parachromis
Uaru
Oscars
Or even Jack Dempseys

I went down and got a 4.5" red devil and a 5.5" red Devil. I will pick the best/male after a while and give away the other. I will post pics in a bit.

All I can say is I have a true parrot and its a sexy fish but not the best pet. I have met a few Red devils and they are fun and love to interact. so thats my pick,

I have an 8" midas and I would recommend getting one only if you're going to keep one fish in that 75g. It is the most aggressive fish I have ever seen, he attacks the glass when I enter my room and will kill any fish I put with him( he's already killed at least 10 before he got his own tank). I would get a barred midas if u can find one tho, normal rd/midas look like giant goldfish with a mouth full of teeth

I voted other, b/c trimac/midas/red devil are your best bet. You will not enjoy the others if you are lookig for a wet pet. Also add to that a managuense, they are fun and dont take a year(1 ft. of growth) to get fun.

Jeff Rapps has F1 red devils from the only pair of solid white adults, I dont think it gets any better then this IMO

also he has great trimacs, managuense and he is expecting some midas, maybe wild caught by mid week.

IMO - there is only one place to buy fish!!!

oh yea, you could always get a neet, they are crazy!
