Whale found wrapped around bow of cruise ship

I just don't believe that a ship going 20-30 mph is going to tag a live and healthy whale.
 
that sucks .. whales are already in bad shape .. we are messing them up like crazy .. but then again .. evolution didnt do them well ... gills .. get the hint

Old age? Starvation? Cancer? What usually kills whales? I'm sure whales don't start rotting the second they die, even if it was from an injury, it could have been dead for a couple of days.
