A guy told me he had a 35G Eclipse tank, but after I brought it and bought it home, I realize its just as big as my 25G tank (exact measurement).. I am so mad!!! :irked:

Now I understand why some people kill some people out of rage! :irked:

I don't think you should be mad at him.......He may have just been mistaken, and if you already had a 25 you probably should have been able to tell it was the same thing......I wouldn't say the guy was at fault just you didn't tell the difference.....

Yea he may have advertised that, maybe mistaken.......but you obviously went there and looked at it before you payed for it, you could have recognized it's not a 35.......

Couldn't you tell it was bigger than YOUR tank?

Why did you even take it home, then? You decided "Hey, I want the tank" Be happy with it.

Ever heard of "buyer beware"? I highly doubt that anyone would help you due to that clause.

Sorry for your loss, but it is your own responsiblity to check for that.

what's wrong with 25's? i've got two, they're a nice growout size

this is what the police said in reponse of this incident, hope I can get a refund / trade back :D

You can try and obtain a refund, if not you may want to try civil action. Let
the seller know that you have been in contact with the police to see if that
sways him. If the item offered is fraudulently advertised then the police may
get involved. If the sellers address is in Toronto, then the Toronto Police
Service should be called.

Good Luck
