James, congrats on getting them all alive. I thought they were presumed dead when I saw your first post but your magic oxygen tank revived them.

Sorry to hear that. I hope they pull through. Just a tip about the packaging: I know UPS actually trains their employees not to read anything on the packaging except for the actual UPS shipping label, so writing things like "Fragile" or "This side up" is useless. The package gets handled by many people while its in transit, so if its packed in a way that it can possibly get broken by anything other than extreme abuse, then the shipper is taking a gamble. UPS doesn't have any special fragile package handling service, so its best to assume its going to get beat up and plan accordingly. I would assume FedEx operates in a similar way.

If the package still has to stand with a particular direction upward, the best thing to do is to put the shipping label on the top side of the box. When they go down the conveyor belts, boxes are always placed label side up, because the scanning machines are above the conveyor. The package might still get laid sideways on the truck or wherever else, but at least when its getting sorted at a facility it will be right side up.

i heard fedex does the same.:(
the only time they actually notice the "fragile" thing is when theyre actually delivering to the house.

ah.... too easy.

yeah, so after 10-15 minutes of intense oxygen bubbling, 4 of moba in that bag started to wake up and move around. I was sitting next to them and worrying the whole time. I am so glad they all do well, and actually eat already.

i was too late to guess...:(but i wouldve said fronts too.:D
you got rid of everything in this tank?
or moved them to the other?
nice blue fronts!

Just keep an eye on them closely because the "intense oxygen bubbling" could be a bad thing as well if they get air in their belly. That's why you never feed these guys anything floating. Always sinking pellets. Just something to remember in case it slipped your mind.

I'd add a bit of salt so in case a bit of air did get in there belly they can fart it out.

Good save and pretty fish!
