What a Lucky Day!!!!

Could be water clairty that effects the coloring to them. Almost all bluegill will get a purple/pink shine to them if you hold them in the light right. what would be interesting is to see if the color fades or goes away while being captive. I wonder if a large varriance in diet would help keep the colors.

Very interesting specimens ya got there sunshine! I got the fishing itch so I'm gunna be going this weekend :P

I have wanted to go fishing again for a few days now. Too much stuff to do and I thought about me being at my fish limit. :(Then again, I have been talking with a guy about his 135 acrylic tank and started getting ideas!! Take the new fish and put them in the 135 and now I have 2 tanks freed up. :D

Whoa, be careful or well see you on animal hoarders! Wish I could find a 135! What are you planning for your other two tanks, more centrarchids, or something a little different.

Can't take me on animal hoarders unless they take all the keepers here at the same time. I did not keep all of the 42 bluegills. I do have quite a few tanks: 125, 125(Half full only 5 small fish and 2 fiddler crabs, working on future home for mudskippers),100 stock tank(empty) 75, 55, 55, 40(empty),20(empty),10, 5, temporary turtle tank(looking for something better)

Not sure what I would put in the 2 empty tanks if I got the 135.
