I know its late in the conversation but 6 speeds are a joke for straight line racing. A built Auto with a stall will own a standard with the same set up from a stop. While you are shifting Im still rolling full power. You can control your powerband with a auto as well. That just shows you have no clue how to drive one. Not to mention I can tune every shift point with my laptop. Someone said that NHRA cars are standards. Do you really call a trans without a manual clutch a standard? No you dont. They are still in the auto category.

BTW Im not digging that vette. They made Amarican Muscle look like rice......

I have a T56 in my car.

Guys with the same car, mods and power who have an auto run better times down a straight line.

I personally would never give up my 6 speed. Its makes for a much more enjoyable drive.
