Me too! Thanks.

Less feeding.

Didn't have to replace my carbon, just had to rinse the scum off. lol Normally I put the hose in through the window and then just warm it with buckets, but the temp was 78, so I didn't want to freeze her.

Id ditch the carbon, if its that old and gunky crap will leach back into the tank and cause probs

Go S. Vettel #1 rb8

That's one of those "gotta wait for $ things"... lol

if tank is maintained properly you don't need to keep carbon in to help with the smell and all. I'd replace that carbon with extra bio media.

I'm not sure how I feel about the carbon atm, but I have some research to do for when I upgrade my filtration to something a bit "More like it"... and also need to find a decent, affordable powerhead. I know wal-mart carries one, and I'm tempted to try it, but not sure where it should be rated. (over the gallonage, or at my gallonage) I've never had to use a powerhead, I've always set my filter on the end to blow the water. lol

which filter do you have? and which walmart powerhead are you talking about?
