It's NOT possible. Maybe the person was describing it as something that just LOOKED like a hybrid between a carp and a catfish.

It is 100% impossible. It's like trying to cross a human with a chimpanzee.

Milking only works with certain species. If you don't do it right, you might squeeze its guts out and kill the fish.
its actually possible to cross a chimp with a human there was some special I saw a while back talking about a suspected chimp x human hybrid

I don't think so, not without some SERIOUS scientific interference. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes (46) while chimps have 24 pairs (48). It just doesn't work.

I saw a personxcrocadile hybrid on a mag a while back...does believing this make me naive?

crossing animals with different number of chromosomes is possible. like the mule. But they have to be closely enough related to hybridize

So that means I can make a TIGERPIG!!! Muah Muah Muah!!!

I've heard this was possible, just very wrong/illegal in many peoples opinions. There's an episode of radiolab about this, you can listen to it in the WNYC.org radio archives if anyones' interested
