I didn't actually intend on going...

I answered an ad on CL, someone was looking for a free 10 gallon to house their son's frog. I had one with all the stuff to go with it, so I said they could have it. Today, I started cleaning it up and noticed it had a crack in the bottom. I didn't want to bail on my offer, so I picked up an $11 Petsmart tank to go with the accessories I had for them.

I picked up a bunch of large hermit crab shells for my tang shell dweller tank. They were half off. Like $1.74 each and a $19.99 ten gal tank with hood and filter. Just needed the filter. But the filter by itself was $17

I should go get 3 of the $20 tank set ups. They make excellent tanks for fish shows.

5 giant danios
8 tiger barbs
bala shark
3 green cories
turqoise severum (not on sale though)

- I had been wanting a severum and considered getting this exact fish a few days ago, wish I had gone ahead and done it. somebody had bought out the rest of them and the 2 blood parrots in the tank were beating him to hell, his fins are torn up but im hoping he can recover. was a great looking fish before he got beat up

I was inspired by this thread to go to petsmart. So I went and picked up a baby bichir for $3 and 2 tin foil barbs for $.80 each.. Good deal until I put the tin foil barbs in my aggressive community tank!!!! I'm one barb down!!!!!!!!(the jar should be full now)

haha give it a little more time you'll be 2 barbs down, and unless u have a tank to grow that bichir out a bit possible him down too

lol..I have convicts smaller than the barbs I got. The jar doesn't mess with them or the red texas or the little empress I have in there. Barbs must taste pretty good to him--he's after the other one now...Time to remove the barb!!!

2 barbs down and one very fat baby jardini!!! The little poly is doing ok though. I have another baby poly in there as well and no issues yet .
The first tf barb didn't hardly make it out of the bag before brutus jr snapped it up.
