Lucky man, I can't find any retros available especially locally.

I was lucky, just looked in the tank and he is not there. Found behind the tank and had to drain the better half's puffer tank to get behind and reach him. Stuck him in a buck of tank water and he isn't moving. I think he is gone. No more birchir and no more $65. :(

Ouch sorry to hear hopefully he might pull through.....

He did (so far at least), I left in the bucket for about 15-20 mins and he moved so I pulled all the crap off of him and put him back in the tank.

Aww man I'm sorry...that really sucks...

He is breathing and his eyes are still sunken in but I hope this is a good sign that he will pull through.

sorry man i hate learning the hard way, new fish are especially skittish and usually want to escape their new environment... close all gaps!

Funny thing is I had it all closed off except for the section on the back with the HOB. I had the other section blocked off with the plastic strip backing. I think he was able to slip through the opening just for the return on the HOB.
Sucks.

tough break dude. hate to hear people losing their fish. hate one of my ropes escape through the tiniest of openings. these types of fish are truely escape artists.
