was labeled as dwarf green. it's about 3". Had a caudal spot and a spot on the end of its tail. red edge on the dorsal fin

Dwarf Green is typcally Cr. compressiceps. This fish is not Cr. compressiceps.
It's pretty hard to correctly id the fish based on the pic provided. Possibly Cr. regani. Maybe an immature saxatiline. A better pic would help.

I took 2 more pix but that one seemed to be the best. I didn't get it. I took the pix w/ my phone at an LFS. Here's the other two, but it's probably not worth posting them.
The large humeral spot makes me lean towards Cr. lucius, a saxatiline group pike.

It's really hard to tell with those pics. You have to try and get some nice clear pics.

It looks quite different than the one I have that was said on here to be a lucius. It does look more like my lucius than my bellycrawler. I may just go pick it up this weekend.Scatocephalus;1791730; said:

that dovii has been there quite a while and i want it every time i go there, lol. i wanted to buy the "water cow" (marbled goby) too.
