was labeled as dwarf green. it's about 3". Had a caudal spot and a spot on the end of its tail. red edge on the dorsal fin

Dwarf Green is typcally Cr. compressiceps. This fish is not Cr. compressiceps.

It's pretty hard to correctly id the fish based on the pic provided. Possibly Cr. regani. Maybe an immature saxatiline. A better pic would help.
 
I took 2 more pix but that one seemed to be the best. I didn't get it. I took the pix w/ my phone at an LFS. Here's the other two, but it's probably not worth posting them.

It's really hard to tell with those pics. You have to try and get some nice clear pics.

I know that can be tough with young pikes! They don't like to sit still!

Did you see the ornate there is it still there ?

yep, aqua imports

the ornate is still there. it looks different than most, but i still think you should get it

that dovii has been there quite a while and i want it every time i go there, lol. i wanted to buy the "water cow" (marbled goby) too.
