How you gonna determine who's right?

How big is the fish? Are you going to grow it out to adult size?

That looks like a cross of a brown acara(cichlisoma portegensis) and a geophagus altrifons. Definately some acara and I say geo because of the fin markings.

Hehe its not mine, its a forum member from another site, there was a 50/50 split as to old or new world, looks like its repeating here again,hehe

Determining who's correct, lol um er google the name and see if anything looks similar, other than that,knowing some people here are good at id
