Hello, my name is Derpy. I was sold as a blood parrot but I'm not sure what I am. I've been home for three months and haven't attacked anyone except when feeding. What am I?

I was confused because the mouth seems to work just fine, it doesn't really have a notch in the back, and it's not very round. Sorry for crappy iphone picture.
