What am I?

How can you tell it's male? I'm new to larger cichlids. I mostly keep knives (obviously) and labyrinth fish such as gouramis and bushfish. Cichlids are strange to me.

Shape of the fish tells me it's male. Nice quality bp, no hunchback notch and no pinched mouth.
 
Did you bought it from Walmart?
