Though a different fish i have a vieja argentea in a 75 and like duanes said he wont let other cichlids live in it....and catfish, and plecos and tiger barbs lol

Thanks guys.....interesting stuff. Well she's totally alone in the 75 and seems very chill...just swims leisurely around....goes back under her driftwood....repeats. And she has already eaten pellets from the surface. Been less than 24 hours here....I think she's adjusting. She may not ever be as personable as an oscar....but what a beauty.
I believe it will do well, alone in a 75, maybe for a long time. I just wouldn't try to add any other fish.
Viejas are my favirotw fish and your right maybe not the personality of an o but geez they are gorgeous.
