Th yellow eye, the number of spots (bars), the profile of the head are all right. But the idea that anyone would let such a rare and valuable species go, is beyond my wheelhouse. Could've been just a case of mistaken identity and they didn't actually know what they had. I've had it a couple of times where I bought the wrong fish just because it was being sold as something else entirely.
