What am I

I picked this guy up yesterday (8in) as a Red Devil. His hump was much bigger yesterday, but has shrunk over the past 24 hours.

What do you think, is he an RD, a Midas, or a mix.

It's most likely a mix with strong RD genes. There's no way to prove it's pure so it's best not to assume it is. Sexy beast!

Looks almost 100% RD, they look much better then the mixes IMO, nice fish.

No way to visually distinguish midas from red devil.

Does the fish look more like a lab? Yes. Does that mean it is in fact a lab? No. Unless you got it from a reputable source, assume mix.

Good point, for sake of argument I will refer to him as an RD. But because I dont know the original source, its up in the air.
