what angers you about your bichirs?

Well...what angers me is how picky my are. The teugelsi, moke and laps eat shrimps, the ornates don't. The ornates eat pangasius, the delhezi wont eat it. Its so annoying. grrrrr

and my big ornate goes on a rampage as soon he is outside his hideout and sees me coming into the room.

For me nothing,if you want them all to eat the same thing just feed what you want then to eat,it may take a few days to a few weeks but they will not starve them selfs to death.
I have had to do this with a my ornate and lap now they eat what I put in front of them

Never had a problem getting a poly to eat a heavily scented pellet, I've seen them refuse bloodworms/earthworms but go straight to a stinky pellet. I used hikari cichlid gold and my del went right for it the same night I got him. Also anything that is wiggling seems to work well.

Also the only thing that my Polys make me mad/worried about is when they get all worked up and nip/ chase each other. Never seen any damage thankfully.

well my ornate is from france i guess ha ha. i throw in the best food, he comes out, sniff at it, gives me a " are you serious" look and swims back in his hideout ha ha

A few things my Polys piss me off is

1. My 15" male Endli always goes bezerk and kicks up sand everywhere...
2. My 18" male Ornate is super aggressive and nips at my other 2 Polys and others...
3. My 16" female Weeksii always chills in front of my overflow box covering the intake slits making my sump nearly run dry and almost floods the main tank...thank god it doesn't flood.


Other than this I love them all

Well I actually have one thing that is annoying me right now.
My big female endli will not give in to my male endli he's trying to get her in the mood then bam she pins him down and give him a royal beating,
So now he looks like crap but like most of us he keeps trying lol
