Don't do it!! They are died albinos. They end up being grey and they die real young. I had one for about 18 months then it died. The other oscar(red) in the tank, was still just fine.

Bingo. Worthless use of a good fish. I've had the unpleasure of selling some of these at a store I use to run. I've never seen one that looked remotely happy, nothing more than lethargic. And as said, as they grow, the dyes fade to a terrible looking albino. Do the fish a favor and don't buy it. As with other cruel mutations, hopefully that can help stop the crappy treatment they receive.
