What Are In These Boxes?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh, i know what in the box ? Bacteria house for wet/dry filter. :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2. I ordered these before. I will say they are the best media for wed/dry filter from Japan and the most expensive media too. Good taste. I put these in my filter and i don't need to do water change in 4-6 months and my fish still healthy. Also depend on bio load.

Ding! Ding! Ding! :mwave::mwave::mwave:

BTW, they are not the best media for WET/DRY FILTER :grinno: They're best for the Bakki Shower filter, but hope that they will work better in the wet/dry filter than the bio-ball

Oh yeah, they will work fine as long as you don't put them under water. Just let water drift through them.If you put them under water, then make sure you put an air stone in,so bacteria will get sufficient of oxygen. I thought you checked out my set up already. I used these and rarely do water change.

interesting... are they real expensive?? work well submerged??? i need to fill rest of my sump with something???

was it cheaper ordering from japan? cause i know they have a US rep/distrib. international shipping charges are a biat*ch.

btw there are also a 2-3 knock-offs in asia. did you look into them? anywho if you got a hook up, PM me :)

Actually they have agent here in U.S. I think around $300 or so for a 10kg box + shipping too. They used these bacteria house in bakki shower filter for koi pond but also can work well in wet/dry filter too. i have a 180gals set up power by a 60gal wet/dry filter with bacteria house and ceramic ring. My water are crystal clear without doing any water change in 4-6 months :headbang2:headbang2. I just need to fill in the amount of water lost due to heat, clean up waste. It depend on how much waste.
