What are my rays worth?

i think us$4,000 is a fair price

like i said a fish is only worth what someone is willing to pay you may get some mad man willing to pay $10k

but i would be happy with $4k
 
They way I figured was...Mike is keeping the Black ray captive breeding alive and close to home (kinda close anyway). Sure he is doing this for a profit however if he wasn't I would think he was kinda screwd in the head. I could have either kept my five Henlei and maintain my half assed breeding facility, or keep 3 of them for personal enjoyment and hopefully get some pups. I chose the later. If I find more they will be going to the same place.

If you are going to get out and sell your rays, sell them to Mike. If you are ever wanting to get back into it you will have to make one call and pay a fair price , rather than trying to barter with 15 other guys who are after the same rays.
 
I sold almost all my rays to Mike, 4 black rays, a bunch of otos, motoros, etc. I know they are in good hands which meant a lot to me besides just a dollar figure and if your ready again in the future you can by one of your rays pups in the future. he will take care of you

But you are a vendor.. which usually means better deals :)

IN my opinion anything less than the highest vendor purchasing price is not enough for these rays. They are beautiful. :)
 
if you are selling to a breeder just make sure you sort out a great price for pups if you ever want to go back to rays
 
Wish I could get some rays like this to breed in my 375g :(

I'm having a hard time even getting the more common Rays for a reasonable price..


After importing for a while, I have a very hard time paying these new inflated premiums.. :(
