I keep seeing that people suggest to use good quality fish flakes.. What brands are good and what brands should i avoid?

Wow i guess out of all these ppl me and aspear are the one ones to use flackes..

Come on some let me know what are some good brands please?

Omega One.

I asked the same question a while back, maybe a year ago and got a pretty simple answer, "read the ingredients". If you look at the lower quality stuff, Tetramin for example, you'll see the first ingredient is Fish Meal, (ground scales and guts) then Ground Brown Rice(yum) then yeast. A bunch of junk.

Now, take a look at the Omega One fish foods: Whole salmon, black cod, halibut, whole shrimp, fresh kelp... and on and on. Good quality ingredients make good quality food. The rest is just filler.

I will def look to order Omaga One.

Another problem is that i live 2 hours from a major fish supply carrier. Does anyone know a good website to get like bloodworms, brine shrimp and other good foods for small catfish?

I use Omega One,just because its what my LFS carries. It has a sticker on it saying its made with fresh seafood (so you know its good)

Thats the key to business success.. put a sticker on it and it has to be true! Brilliant! j\k

Thats 3 for Omaga.. so thats settled.. thanks everyone!

I think im try Dr., i see the brine come in farly larger packs for my small cats. Are brine hard to keep alive?
