i like the tigrinus. i do want something i can get my lfs to bring in for me so i dont have to deal with shipping. i already had my mind set on stingray, thats my whole reason for building the pond. maybe a tigrinus, a tsn and a motoro? how well do you think they will mix? also, ill have a silver arowana in the next couple weeks

If said pond is an outdoor pond in ottawa, scrap any ideas of a tig or stingray. They will most likely not make a winter.
you could do an achara, thoose are awesome. or a school of ornate pims. i have one and he is like halfway between a tsn and a pictus pim in attitude and body shape. with a pattern like no other. if the pond is outdoor though, you are stuck with channel cats and maybe id cats
no it will be indoor. hope my landlord doesnt mind 1500 gallons in the basement haha. i do like the achara too. damn, now im going to be stuck deciding what i want. i think i might get an ornate for one of my other tanks too. they are nice

i dont know why but i cant see myself ever buying silver dollars. they dont appeal to me at all. so this is what i have planned so far. friday is payday so ill be getting the tsn for big als for 24.99 unless they change the price by then. im waiting on them to get a shipment of silver aros. theres a store in peterborough (where my parents live) thats a 3 hour drive from me here in ottawa which has a nice 6" motoro for $150 which i may get depending on weather or not they still have it when i build the pond. then after that i can decide if/what else i want in the pond... owning fish is starting to get pricey.
