What are some cool non-cichlid hybrids?

Not a lot really, you get a lot of natural hybrids in sw when you have a bunch of closely related species occurring in a small area, indiscriminately spawning in a big cloud above said small area. Contrarily, you rarely get designer hybrids in sw because of how hard it is to breed them in captivity.
You don't see a lot of hybrids in fw other than catfish, centrarchids, livebearers and cichlids, because most cichlids also have a bunch of close relatives occurring in the same area or in captivity, making the chance of hybridization higher. Same with centrarchids and livebearers to an extent. Most catfish hybrids come out of aquacultural settings and chemically induced spawns, and are usually made solely to be better food fish, occasionally making their way into the hobby.
Everything else is either too distinct to want to hybridize with any of their relatives, even if given the chance, or even if they physically can or have the urge to, said relatives don't live anywhere near them to do it naturally, and they aren't in the hobby for people to make them. If any of that makes sense, lol
