what are some good fish to keep with rays??

yeh u even big arrows leave em alone!
u might find the odd one a million that gets bugged, but yeh

stingrays = bottom
aros = top... anything on the top should be fine. that isnt too aggressive.(saratogas for example i would avoid)

my discus do quite well in my ray tank, although some people disagree with discus as a tankmate to rays.
the argument being that the activity level of rays at night will stress out the discus. but i have never had a problem.

:iagree:discus in a ray tank is far more compatible than what some people do. I say go for it! it brings a nice burst of color to the top of your tank too that contrasts the rays.... not that were interior decorating
 
well it totally depends on the personality of the fish.
i have heard some people that put plecos in the rays be totally fine although its advised against because plecos can attach itsself to a rays disk and suck off the slime coat.
on the flip side i have heard of one person who have a red asian aro with rays (thinking it was totally fine cause everyone puts arrows with rays)
and one of the rays ate half of his $2000 arowana.

so it totally depends on the personality of each fish, some things work some dont.
some are just slightly safer than others.
in the long run though, nothing will be totally safe in a ray tank, so it really is a trial and error kind of thing IMO
