there are some pike cichlids they stay small enought for a 55 right guy's i love those nice fish with a snapper head they have

Seconded. I put a couple dither tiger barbs in with 2 cons who weren't breeding at the time.. went to get a drink, came back to 6 massacred Tiger Barbs. In 20 minutes, they decimated everything in the tank except 1 Cory Cat.
sounds like the best option to me!
what about an oscar???? a 75 would be better but they manage in a 55. surprized no one mentioned an oscar....
