What Are Some Of Your Pet Peeves Within The Hobby?

I can't stand fish that hide all the time like plecos and "agressive" cichlids. That is why I like cyprinids and characins mostly they are always on the move and don'r hide all the time. The main promblem with fancy plecos plus they expensive.
 
Theres quite a few things i hate and disliike about the hobby but more things i like :)

1. selective breeding in goldfish, why?? there "THE" ugliest fish ever and can hardly swim, you wouldn't do it do humans if they had a bad illness for example

2. seeing dirty un maintained tanks

3. clearly over stocked tanks and people stocking to the absolute max, then saying they do waterrs changes daily lmao

4. ALGAE!!

5. how expensive decor costs, £25 for a small peice of wood!! still buy it anyway lol

6. brightly coloured decor etc

:D thats about it really the obvious ones

+1 so i dont buy them, just the cheap ones as you dont see them
 
I wish live rock wasn't so expensive!

I don't like it when people put bettas in bowls

When people try to give their goldfish that is already in a bowl a "friend"

Goldfish.

I wish my crayfish wasn't nocturnal, he still moves around in the day some though

I hate it when people aren't serious about fishkeeping... Fish are actually hard to keep if you don't know what your doing

I don't like it when people take advice from people at pet stores...

My list could go on for a while...
