Dude, maybe you're spending too much time with the fish(ies). So much you won't even notice if a hot chick fell in your lap;)
If you have to ask, maybe you're not paying enough attention. That stuff should be second nature to animals:naughty:

It's cute how the girls are like " awe.. someone's in love"... Definitely not. If someone's in love, they wouldn't be asking this question. It would be natural as stated above....

I say buck up, ask her out... If she says no, not a big deal, there's LOTS of girls out there, trust me.

But as for biggest piece of advice... make girls laugh!!!
 
General rule for me.... If she's breathing, and has a pulse, she's interested......

Bull****. Some of us are just wired differently. I personally missed ALL cues well till I got married. Funny how when the cues were useful I missed them now it's become obvious.

As far as dead give aways that she's into you, some pretty consistent ones are:
1) Contact and/or proximity are a dead give away. If she gets closer while you are talking with no apparent reason. IE: No loud music and the place is not packed.
2) Fiddling with her hair
3) Nibbling on her lower lip, this one can be a hit or miss depending on the weather.
4) Taking a serious interest in your hobbies. IE: "I'd love to see your tanks some time"

To the OP. There is one thing more painful than rejections and that's wondering what if for the next 20 years. All of my rejection have been forgotten years ago, the what ifs still haunt me occasionally 10-15 years later.

Wired differently? What? As I said earlier, the best bet is to ask the girl out. if she says NO... move onto the next. Simple as that.

CONFIDENCE is key.
 
Took me forever to figure it out. Plenty of girls are a little interested. They will look you in the eyes, laugh and smile. Then, if you play it right, they will like you more and more but you've got to learn each girl's ups and downs. Every person is different, but usually a long conversation is a really good sign if it's a good conversation. It is truly easier to tell if a girl doesn't like you than to be sure she does. Easiest way is to ask if she's hungry, then offer to grab lunch together. Keep it light, fun and casual and if she says no one day, understand that she might just be having a bad day. If you try it again a week later and it's still a 'no', she probably doesn't like you but you've got to read all the signals to be sure.

I couldn't tell until I turned about 19 or 20, then it became more of a challenge for me to say 'no'.
