What are the characteristics of a show quality convict cichlid male?

this is the bump on mine....7 months old and 2 1/2''.
Don't think he's show quality, but still nice.

NIce fish- I like the iridescence on the edge of the tail

HRP would probably make a better show fish than a regular con.

I like to see some color in my males too. This guy doesn't have the best fins or hump but I like him for his color. You can only kind of see it in these pictures, but he is vibrant.

The last picture is of a fish with better fins and hump but his color isn't as nice.

It's really just about prefference and what you think your customers will like (you did say it was a store right).
