What are the crazy things you will do for fish?

In addition to lying about the cost of fish...

and about how long I spend in fish stores (I tell my friends I'll be 20 minutes)...

I am writing a freaking thesis on them; flounder brains to be exact.

I walked 1km with a 20kg (44lb) bag of pool filter sand from the pool shop to my house because I can't drive yet (I hate the learner's license laws in Australia). Considering I'm 5'4" and a petite girl, I thought this deserved a pat on the back...
