what are the easiest cichlids to breed besides convicts??

I've breed JD's, Red Devils, pink Convicts and Oscars in the past. All were good parents except the Oscars. However, I never got the chance to see them raise a clutch because of a F-ing Texas that would chase the male away and eat the eggs. In my mind the Red Devils were the easiest and best parents.

yea i have heard red devils being easy to breed as well but...because of their aggression and sizes i dont think i would breed them just yet.....and everyone knows convicts are the easiest its like you want to ask the opposite question how do you stop them from breeding....LOL

Anyway thanks for sharing that with us you did however gave some knowledge on oscars....i have some but maybe its the tank their in or the fish in with them that they havent bred yet....

For me it's jewel cichlids. I ve got 2 regular breeding pairs in two separate 4' by 2' tank.

The midas are easy, they only need space...new water and salt to start breeding
