what are the hard to get most sought after fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
when i was setting up a feeder tank i could not find female guppies anywhere

daft as that sounds but i searched for weeks and just no one had any at all

other than that mmmmmh it was Red snakeheads but ive just found a new supplier for them :D

Ornatum - beautiful cichlid that are normally only in places like Japan
Beani - may become slightly more available soon with a breeding project perhaps starting in cali.
Crenicichla tigrina - rare pike cichlid that i know many people are after but i don't know of a single one in the united states

those are the big 3 cichlids in my opinion, and i'm not going to mention any color morphs because thats just play poppycock to include them or else you could say platinum ornatum.

The title speaks for itself I was just curious what are some hard to get fish that are in demand right now either in lfs or online. I know Istlanum and beani are hard to get and sought after. Well as far as my lfs i would say true red terrors , everytime i go to lfs and they say they have red terrors it is always the false one or the mayan cichlid, Aslo grammodes , i seen one lfs with some and i should of hopped on it they were decent size two like 5 inches

yeap our grammodes ( I dont think weve ever had mayans labeled as red terrors before)

you should deffinitely pick up the grammodes before someone else does, some people ahve been showing interest

hey voss that red terror you told me guys had was not a true red terror and i have seen other in there that where not actually true red terror, i mean they are call red terrors but they are not the actual true red terror

in an LFS a L25 scarlet. You can find then on the internet pretty easy but in any store near me they can't even order any.
