I know Boulengerochromis and Frontosa are the larger piscivores. Ranging about 36" and 12-14", respectively. I don't believe I have ever seen anything in the middle. Anything from that lake reach 10"-18" and can be kept in a 200 gallon community. I am debating on Front's cause they are growing on me...just gotta get past that huge humphead.

Currently housing small juv colony of Tropheus Moori and a couple Callochromis. This is a newly set up tank. I am trying to stock it...but I am being very careful with fish selection.

Thanks for the info.
Chris

A colony of Frontosas is always a good thing ...so it happens that I have a colony of Kitumbas for sale :). Contact me if you're interested.

200gal could work for a lot of Tanganyikans.
A colony of Frontosas ...tankmates: Altolamprologus, Lobochilotes Labiatus, Ctenochromis Horeii
A colony of Petrochromis ...tankmates: shell dwellers.
A colony of Tropheus ...tankmates: shell dwellers.
Tanganyikan community: a school of Cyprichromis (up to 40 individuals), shell dwellers, a group of sand dwellers like Enantopius Melanogenys (20-30 individuals, ratio 1m/3f would be ideal).

Petros would be nice.

Chris,
I would go with a colony of Frontosas or a colony of tropheus. That would be sweet.....:grinno:
If not then some paracyprichromis nigripinnis, Calvus/Compressiceps, Julidochromis, shelldwelling ocellatus, and some juvie fronts.
