I think we should make it all legal and then sell it like we do cigs. The gov could grow it cheap and clean and sell it in packs at the store. Cheap to produce, easy to market HUGE income to help pay for schools and all that other stuff they keep taxing the shi* out of me for. I know millions would gladly pay 20$ for a pack of 20 joints!:grinyes:
not me I wouldn't pay that......I would grow it, you know how easy and cheap it is to grow;)

more like ive seen what drug can do to people, its a very terrible thing.

i was not told THAT drugs are bad

but WHY, HOW and WHAT they do.

oprah rocks:headbang2
I have also seen what drugs can do and while it may seem harsh no one forces people to do them, if they die , okay, let them. Make it cheap, make it public, let them serve as a warning to others on the way out. People self destruct on drugs now anyway, You can't stop them, even countries with the death penalty for drugs can't stop them, the difference is that they are so desperate for the money to buy that they rob and steal and kill to get it.

I think so, yes, an in house cold turkey program for junkies who wish to stop.

Use the money that you save on incarcerating non-violent pot heads, a treatment program is cheaper than a cage.

I agree with guppy about drugs. Although, us americans will abuse that power and might take it to the limit. And whats wrong with a little weed?

I think what some of the comments I am reading here are missing the big picture. It will be legal to POSSESS these drugs in relatively small quantities. They are stiffening the laws on trafficking and possesion of larger quantities. IMO this law may free up resources to go after the growers and cartells. It may not, they will probalby just continue to pad the pockets of law enforcement, which will keep them turning a blind eye to all of it. Certainly will be an interesting experiment, it may be too early to comdenm or condone it at this point.
