This is a ID shark cat or A columbian cat shark ..they come by a few different common names... they eventually should be in brackish..:D

That's a gorgeous pic of your shark Liz!!! But I at least was referring to Irridescent sharks, or Pangasius hypophthalmus(spelling):D

seriously if u have the resources and the space there is no fish better than a red tail catfish. they are joyful balls of affection and sincerity. u can even pet them in most cases. plus they r beautiful and are always a crowd favourite. whenever my parents host dinner parties everyone always goes: WOAHHH SO BIG AND PRETTY. seriously man. these fish arent fussy and are hardly ever sick. my face fish by far. i have 2 myself. just dont overfeed.

my money is on the ID shark too, but only for potential size. For cats that actually reach more than 20"+ i agree with TSN.

On a side note i read an interesting article on scotcat about id sharks and how many dont reach their potential size regardless of space.

the columbian, silver tip, black fin, etc. is way different than an irridesent shark.

Does anyone know much about Hemisorubim platyrhynchos please. Do any of the Brits know of one for sale in the UK ( or a Lince cat).
Cheers now
