What are the most "hands-on" reptiles?

If your dissapointed your ball python is a pet rock, you didnt research the species at all. In their tank, they will stay coiled up in their hide almost all of the time, only coming out occasionally at night and when they know they are being fed. Once you take them out(hands on) they can be very active snakes.

I used to have a milksnake that was more active in and out of cage. They still stay small and tend to be very docile easy-going snakes. They might be a good option if your curious about a more active snake. I like kingsnakes and they are similar to milksnakes, but can be more aggressive.

If you want something a little cooler than a beardie, i still suggest a uromastyx, mine loves to be held, i can hand feed him, and is super cool

Well, this is kind of the story of my life. I wasn't a natural-born reptile enthusiast. I always loved "cute fluffy things" but I'm allergic to most mammals.
So I sort of morphed into a reptile lover, because I'm not allergic to them! :)

I would say research both animals thoroughly before you make your choice. They are very different pets! But I wouldn't trade my beardie for anything.

Same... besides the Alergic part that sucks bro lol I'm going with the beardy once mysnapper out grows his tank my cousins who live next door just got a bunny (ironic ) n he's so awesome n full of cuddles!!
