I have a convict/Severum cross, it killed all of its siblings, but its not very colourful. This is just an isolated incident, but all of its siblings pretty much had the convict colours, but the severum body shape. Convict and Severum aren't very close genetically unlike the salvini and the convict, so I'm sure the eggs will hatch, but I'm not sure about the salvini colours. I hope they come out lookin cool! As for the responsibility, you should throw 'em all in a pond with something colourful like a festae. I'm all for the isolated creation of new species, just as long as you don't blow the status quo, that would piss alot of people off.
