I would also say teeth from payara because of the shape and size aswell as the fact that you posted it under subforum "other characins", butt are their teeth actually hollow as it seems the teeth in the photo are?
So,you were joking about the caniines....They are sheds from my armatus and they do seem to be hollow,at least to some extent.

Shed? Do you mean the outer layer of the tooth, like snake skin, or do they shed the whole thing?
The whole tooth falls out.Sometimes when he grabs a food item the wrong way or he could even knock one out while chasing another fish and bumping into something.
